Gorgeous granny’s square dress made with colorful assortment of gold, fluo yellow, pink and pastel colors made by women in conflict zone. This collection was created from my hospital bed with stage 4 cancer and in the harshest and sub human conditions in Syria where women living in conflict zone without electricity to light, gas to cook, or running water, under a complete economic embargo which prevents the simplest and smallest economic transactions where we can’t receive or send any money not even to purchase our raw materials or power any machinery due to lack of electricity that resulted from ongoing war and Swiss authorities sanctioning Syria by not resuming maintenance for the electrical power plant for which they are responsible, which put the entire country in darkness and total poverty. We hope this ray of light coming from our tiny workshop in Sweida an hour away south of Damascus will warm your heart.
